Arzua (0km): From the Rua Cima do Lugar, where there is the public shelter, we head towards the cobbled Rua do Carmen. Its arcades and facade wooden see us off of Arzúa. For a more rural environment we will descend to the os Franceses' fountain, we cross the river and we arrive to Vello As Barrosas and chapel of San Lázaro (Cairn 36 and 0.9km). We went down to the Brandeso river, a tributary of Iso river (1.8Km), and we climb up to Preguntoño, village of the parish of Burres with a hermitage, it called San Paio of XVIII century.

Preguntoño (2.2km): At the exit we avoid the N-547 through a tunnel and we face a steep slope, between meadows, corn crops and with views towards Arzúa, to the place of A Peroxa, it is also of the parish of Burres (3.3km). Eucalyptus trees and meadows that are necessary for the survival of livestock and rural world, they are very abundant in the Galician countryside. We traveled by tracks covered by foliage and we go down to the Ladron creek (3.9km) to reach, subsequently, Taberna Vella.
Taberna Vella (Hostel-Bar-Shop, 5.2km): Six hundred meters later we enter in Calzada, of the parish of Burres and it is the final nucleus inhabited of the Council of Arzúa.

Calzada (Bar, 5.8km): We leave the population crossing a link road and we continue to entering the Council of O Pino, the last one before Santiago. The first population is Calle,San Breixo of Ferreiros village.
Calle (Bars, 7.8km): We leave the nucleus after crossing the Langüello stream and we continue along for a network of tracks and paths to Boavista (9.3km) and Salceda, at the foot of the N-547.
Salceda (Shelter. Bar. Pharmacy to 600 meters, 11.1km): We turn off, a few meters, the national on the right, passsing next to the memory of the pilgrim William Watt, who died in the Way. We return above the bottom of the road and we cross next to a farm machinery dealer to get to Oxen where is the parish of San Miguel de Cerceda (12.5km). The path, to the left of the National, now leads us to Ras, from the same parish where we pass under the N-547 (13.1km). At this point, pilgrims from North Way who have taken variant O Pinocan can also link. On the other side, it is A Brea (Cairn 23.5 and 13.6km) and the nearby A Rabiña (Cairn 23 and 14km). Parallel to the National, we overcome easily the climb to O Empalme, of the parish of San Lourenzo de Pastor. In the middle of the path there is a picnic area with a fountain and a windmill. Then, we cross the road to enter the population.
O Empalme (Bars, 15.3km): Then, we take a track that descends under the eucalyptus trees. Below, a tunnel under the N-547, we have the option of visiting the hermitage of Saint Irene and her baroque fountain or going to privated shelter. Next to this shelter it is the diversion to the rural shelter Astrar. If we continue straight, we arrive to the shelter of the Xunta.
Saint Irene (Shelter 16.3km): Thanks to dense eucalyptus foliage we isolate ourselves from the noise of the road, we passed the Cairn 20, and we avoid again road through a tunnel. A couple of houses, a sawmill and more eucalyptus trees lead us to A Rúa of the parish of Arca.
A Rúa (Bars. Guest house. Rural houses, 17.9km..): By asphalted road we reach to the edge of the N-547 Road and we climb it up until O Pedrouzo.
